Sound on SMP Machines using Redhat

Hello folks ,
	If anyone out there are using the SMP machines for their audio &
using Redhat6.0, please read the folowing mail. I think AG team at Boston
University are having the SMP machine for their audio.

Hi,

We don't support the stock Redhat SMP kernel. We advise you to upgrade to the
Linux-2.2.10 kernel for SMP and download the SMP version of OSS. 

The Redhat SMP sources are badly broken and the problems are not in OSS but in the
source code that Redhat ships.
