[AG-DEV] Code Action Items

I guess to expand on your email Todd.

It would be useful if a "python" script was created, which could be run on existing code base, which would in essence upgrade the software (without the need to building new packages and installing them).

I assume there are a couple of items that need to be changed and should be included within a single script. These include:

* Find instances of anl.gov and replace with new address (most likely accessgrid.org equivalents)
* Update default Venue Server Address (example: vv3.accessgrid.org)
* The multicast beacon needs to be disabled by default, to ensure it works for windows 7 users.
* Disable "submit bug" feature on Venue Client.

Salim, if you, or others could begin working on developing the Python Script to make changes to the code, it would be appreciated.

Obviously, any changes to the code, will also need to be pushed back to the source code for future development.

Cheers,
Jason.

I suggest you use Python instead of sed/awk so that one script will work for all OS's.
