Hello all,

We have been reading the discussion and considering the impact of ANL's decision to end support for the AccessGrid. We too have seen a decline in requests to use AG. While we are still capable of supporting AccessGrid meetings, and will do so if the need arises, the business situation here compels us to reevaluate the support we can provide to the AG community. We are interested if finding someone to take on the support of calendaring for AG as we believe AGSchedule is not a viable long-term solution. We will be happy to work with someone to get the current data out of AGSchedule and into a new, more robust application. We would want to complete the transition sometime this summer so that AGSchedule can be shutdown by the end of 2012. As for the NCSA Venue Server, we will continue to operate it as we have until the end of 2012.

If there are any questions or interest in calendar support, please contact eventservices at ncsa.illinois.edu<mailto:eventservices at ncsa.illinois.edu>.
