[AG-DEV] Default video consumer service on Windows

G'day All

I would like to propose that for the next version of the AG (AGTK 3.2?),
that by default, the video consumer can receive and decode H264/Mpeg4
streams.

For example, by default on Windows (Linux works fine), if someone is
transmitting a Mpeg4 stream, the user is unable to view the stream.
Now, if they remove the standard video consumer service and add an
"VideoConsumerServiceH264" service, then everything works fine..

I think this is quite limiting, as many users are wanting to begin using
the better codec's, but are not utilizing them because default users
would not be able to see the stream correctly.

Additionally, is there any H264 codec support for the Mac?

I understand that transmission by default could/should be h261... But I
think you should at least be able to view everything being transmitting,
especially if it is to the same address.

What does everyone else think?

Tom, should I submit a feature request?

Thanks,
Jason.
