Paul,

Firefox will use the certificates installed in IE, they actually go to
the system's central repository.  If you don't have IE, then in Firefox,
you can go to Tools->Options->Advanced and click View Certificates.  The
steps are much the same from there.  Please remember that this is Firefox's
own repository and other applications may not have access to it.

The NCSA Root Certificate will show in the Certificates list as "CACL". 
If, in IE, you go to Tools->Internet Options->Content, then select the CACL
certificate and click the view button, look at the details for the CACL 
root
certificate, Select the Issuer item and you will see the Organization(O) is
National Center for Supercomputing Applications.

One other thing omitted from my previous instructions was that as a last
step, you may get a dialog asking to confirm the import.  Click "Yes" and
you will get the "Import Successful" dialog.
