If you ever want to try an AccessGrid-3 RPM CVS snapshot (for Python 2.4 
based Fedoras), one can be downloaded from:
    http://www.vislab.uq.edu.au/accessgrid3/fedora/development/noarch/

Not sure if it will fix your bridge issues or not.
