Hm, I'm able to get into the venue. Does nslookup show an IP address of 
140.221.9.8 for vv2 ? Has your firewall changed to disallow outgoing 
connections or something?

Can you get to the NCSA venue server at 
https://venues.ncsa.uiuc.edu:9000/Venues/default ?
