Subject: New SC Global Beacon

Hello,

With the show only two weeks away, the SC Global committee is finalizing
several tools to help us debug any last-minute problem with bringing
nodes
online as well as to troubleshoot problems during the show. If you
haven't
already, please install the latest NLANR beacon which can be downloaded
from:

http://dast.nlanr.net/projects/beacon/newbeacon/beacon-0.9.06.tar.gz

Please make sure that you install 0.9.06 and, if you happen to be
running an
older version, please take a moment to upgrade.

If you haven't already, please send me an email with the IP address or
the
hostname of your audio, video, and display servers, and indicate which
one
will be running your beacon. This information will help us help you and
other SC Global participants diagnose and resolve problems going
forward.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
