(rather cryptic from today.. :)

____________________ATTENDEES
Attendees and their status of using AG 2.0 software:

ANL
It was noted that the text channel for AG2.0 stopped working about 5
minutes into meeting for many remote nodes as well as lib node. We left
the lib 2.0 running quite a while yesterday and found an issue. The proxy
expired on the audio/video machines in lib before the proxy expired before
the display machine setup and made it impossible to move from venue to
venue without restarting everything.

Montana Tech
they have a logitech quick cam, that they thought had a known bug with
vic.. we mentioned vic update was posted that might help (however they are
using openmash...)

University of Montana
they are buying equipment and will be using XP, possibly setting up a PIG
node... they asked if ATI Radeon card would be okay, NCSA mentioned it
should be fine...

LBNL
Got certificate and software running... however when proxy expired and he
went to create a new proxy it gave him an error and he could not
continue. We explained that the proxy is a temporary login so passwords
are not necessary for a short period of time, but we hadn't seen this
error. We need to get back to Lloyd from LBNL with some suggestions.

Ryerson University
they have RC1 loaded on a single node they call an AGCube, separate from
another AG node they use with 1.0... with single machines when nodes are
brought to the AG lobby the video traffic tends to choke the machine and
the venues client hangs... they have fixed this by killing vic, going to
the venue they want, and running vic again... it was mentioned this
direction could be set through the profile if necessary...
I believe we heard that they actually used their 2.0 RC1 node for meetings
with other sites already.

SDSC
Eric helped getting venue client going through mud conversation.

NDSU
has a test box with XP and 2.0 on it... would like to load on his
laptop...Jim is still having errors with connecting venue client and
discussed emailing Tom Uram directly for a workaround.

ECU
Rat only, no participation.

NCSA
service manager not starting in rat, but it can be killed... can't add
applications currently... Tom mentioned a hook to have the system konw
about the application would need to happen... extensive conversations about
applications, services, venue control, setting ACLs, etc followed

_________________OTHER QUESTIONS/CONCERNS

We need to keep adding to faq page with questions/answers.

Venue switches was discussed a few times, it took an unacceptable amount of
time to move from room to room. General performance issues discussed.

FEATURE REQUEST: I need to add this to bugzilla. In a timeout, having vic
stop when the server is actually down. Basically a feature that would
mirror a refresh of the old AG 1.0 browser page would work well to restart
system, refresh, and reconnect.

Folks wondered why when someone enters on PIG node (1.0 or 2.0) their video
streams stays in resource manager instead of dropping...

The issue of time syncing machine came up again and it seems to not help
some of the errors that folks are having. With XP it is simpler to set
internet clock.
