____________________ATTENDEES

Attendees and their status of using AG 2.0 software:

ANL
Tom Uram, Eric Olson, Mary Fritsch

NCSA (coming in through two different PIGs with 2.0)

University of Kentucky
advised that 1 machine, not 3 can be used for 2.0 and AG in general, was originally waiting until end of summer for some equipment to free up, but will go ahead and test sooner now

LBNL
waiting for a camera, they will be installing on a laptop this week, have many secure meetings and worried about secure room setup for meetings, need current node to work uninterrupted from 2.0 software

LANL
having trouble with proxy error as they have loaded so many of the AG2.0 versions on the machine, they will strip all previous versions off and try again today

"1112:error:0906D06C:PEM routines:PEM_read_bio_:no start line:.\crypto\pem\pem_lib.c:662:expecting CERTIFICATE 1112:error:80069080:lib(128):proxy_init_cred:Key and certificate don't match"
ag_lanl says, "those are the errors I get when I try to run Grid Proxy Init"

Montana Tech
justing sitting in, their group has had no exposure to globus or many of the prerequisite softwares, will keep attending testings

NDSU
Jim Senechal has never had to adjust or install AG software on their production node and does not want to alter anything working for AG 1.0 since their node works very well, has no experience with linux, he will additionally try to load 2.0 on a different machine for testing and read Tom's email on how to configure 2.0 on several machines.

NCAR (coming in through PIG with 2.0)
rat on RC1 crashing

_________________OTHER QUESTIONS/CONCERNS

There is great concern that 1.0 and 2.0 software can co-exist without any special reconfiguration. Many nodes need to be in production mode at all times. It was discussed that testing could be performed by using a laptop or PC instead of a full blown node.

Secure nodes were a topic as well. How does someone handle secure meetings with 2.0? How are secure meetings with different sites, some using 2.0 and some using 1.0 handled?

Suggested operating system of windows XP was mentioned, however, Windows 2000 seemed to pose no problems for some sites trying 2.0. Many questions about the correction version of Redhat were asked as well?

Many of the prerequisites again were applications that were unfamiliar to some sites or operators so they didn't pursue a full download for testing. Most folks were convinced to try testing 2.0 and keep attending our biweekly meetings.
