July 15 AG2 Test Cruise

Here's is a short summary of today's morning test cruise.  There were 
occasional small breakups in multicast, but they were not significant 
enough to have much affect on the meeting.  Also there was a question 
asked about the OSX version and the following people volunteered beta 
testers from their labs whenever it becomes available:
  Jason Hill at Ames Lab.
  Frank Sweetser at WPI
  Paul Mercer at Arctic Region Supercomputing

Here are the people and labs that attended:

Jeff Schwab from Purdue
  He was gone for a while, just making sure setup is still working fine 
with ag2.

Cindy Sievers from lanl
  Asked if there is a way to change tmp/local_services location since 
    files can get occasionally removed from the tmp directory.
  Tom suggested changing the location in AGServiceManager.cfg

Paul Mercer from ARSC, & U. of Alaska Fairbanks
  Checking on open powerpoint issue.

    Was wondering about fixing occasional multicast problems in general.
    He was directed to the mcast-support at accessgrid.org list.

  Obtained Tom's shared apps directions and got shared apps working.

Ames Lab.
  Jason Hill

  Brett Bode

  They had questions about converting their kerberos authentication to 
globus certificates.  They had heard about this and will follow up with 
more information.

  They also asked Ti questions about creating Debian packages.
