Registration is now open for the 2008 Access Grid Retreat.

Access Grid Retreat 2008 - May 28-30, 2008
IRMACS Centre
Simon Fraser University
Vancouver, BC, Canada

The Access Grid Retreat is an annual event involving users, developers, and
researchers concerned with the Access Grid software and with collaboration
research. The Retreat Program typically includes presentations suitable for
people at all levels of technical understanding, from first time users to
developers to researchers in collaborative technology and streaming media.

The Access Grid Retreat is an ideal environment for the AG community to share
recent experiences and research findings, to present ideas for future AG
technical directions, and to train and educate AG newcomers. Two tracks of
sessions allow participants to focus on either AG technical issues or activities
related to AG operations. This annual meeting will not be broadcast over the
Access Grid, but, as with past retreats, will focus on bringing the global
community together with face-to-face discussions on topics ranging from AG
collaboration experiences to node installation and troubleshooting to AG
development directions.

More information about this year's Retreat, including registration and
lodging information, is available at:

Note that retreat registration will close on April 25, and space is limited,
so early registration is recommended.

Suggestions or questions for the AG Retreat 2008 Program Committee should be
addressed to agr2008 at accessgrid.org.
