Access Grid 3.0 beta2 available

The Access Grid 3.0 beta2 software is available for download at:

   http://www.mcs.anl.gov/fl/research/accessgrid/software/releases/3.0-beta2

Note: This version of the software is not compatible with the current AG2 software.

Updates in this release include:

- Fixed bad memory access in integrated beacon
    - no longer dominates Windows machines
    - more stable on other platforms
- Fixed address/port display in Venue properties
- Bridge beacon client when bridging media (see connectivity through the bridge)
- Fixes to packaging to improve co-existence of 2.4 and 3.0beta on Windows
- Multiple functional and cosmetic fixes in SharedPresentation
- Fixed removal of shared applications
- Fix broken profile dialog
- Initialize new client preferences not stored in user preferences
- Updated NodeSetupWizard (was non-functional in beta1)
- Close multicast detection network connection after listening
- Correctly store specification of default node config in preferences
- Implement VenueClient SOAP interface
- OSX: Change how X11 is started to not prevent subsequent VenueClient runs

Known issues:

- Access to bridge information will be a problem for users of HTTP proxy servers

Note that this is beta software, intended for testing rather than production
use.  As always, user feedback is welcome. Please file bug reports,
feature requests, or enhancements via the Access Grid Bugzilla
page ( http://bugzilla.mcs.anl.gov/accessgrid ).  We can only fix problems
if we've been made aware of them.
