If you mean send buffer, you need MPI_Wait() to reuse the send buffer, i.e,
MPI_Isend(sbuf, .., &req);
MPI_Wait(&req,MPI_STATUS_IGNORE);
refill sbuf
MPI_Isend(sbuf, .., &req);
