Have you achieved it?
I saw PetscHeapMergexxx() from
http://petsc.cs.iit.edu/petsc/petsc-dev/diff/3b4247e0742d/src/mat/impls/aij/seq/matmatmult.c
but cannot find it from petsc-dev. Have you removed PetscHeapMergexxx() ?
