<div>Hi,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I just started trying to use swift, and we are investigating to see if swift can be useful for our applications. Our users apply windows, mac, and linux/unix environments for their work, so we need to have swift work on all three platforms. I got it to
run on the mac and linux side of things, but I am having a little trouble running it on windows.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>First, I am trying to run swift-0.9 through cygwin. I followed the install instructions for swift and when I tried to run any of the demos (e.g., first.swift) I get this error:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>SWIFT_HOME is not set, and all attempts at guessing it failed.</div>
<div>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</div>
<div> </div>
<div>However, I did set SWIFT_HOME in the System. I am not sure what the problem is. Any hints would be appreciated.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks.</div>
