Thanks, David. Indeed, that ticket clarifies the situation.<br>
<br>
I see that 0.95 config allows eg
"workdir=/scratch/midway/$USER/work" in the new-format config files,
and that trunk/0.96 config allows
<meta charset="utf-8">
<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128); font-family: monospace;
font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal;
font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal;
orphans: auto; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform:
none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px;
-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; display: inline !important; float:
none;">${env.PATH}</span><br>
<br>
This will affect users of 0.95 that had { } expansion in their 0.94
legacy xml-format sites files (which is the situation Im dealing
with now). But we can work around this with documentation and
support.<br>
