</span><span class="style1">Dramatic growth in data and equally rapid decline in the cost of highly </span>
<span class="style1">integrated clusters has spurred the emergence of the data center as the platform </span>
<span class="style1">of choice for a growing class of data-intensive applications. To encourage </span>
<span class="style1">conversations between those developing applications, algorithms, software, and </span>
<span class="style1">hardware for such "cloud" platforms, we are convening the third workshop on Cloud </span>
<span class="style1">Computing and Its Applications (CCA11).</span>

<span class="style1">CCA11 will provide reception and poster session on April 12th (Call for Extended </span>
<span class="style1">Abstract - due March 15th), as well as a full day of distinguished invited talks </span>
<span class="style1">on April 13th on cloud computing, data intensive scalable computing, and related </span>
<span class="style1">topics. CCA11 will be held at Argonne National Laboratory (Bldg. 240 Conference </span>
<span class="style1">Center) in Argonne Illinois, just 25 miles west of Chicago, Illinois. </span>

<span class="style1">EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION</span>

</span><span class="style1">Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of not more than 2 pages of </span>
<span class="style1">double column text using single spaced 10 point size on 8.5 x 11 inch pages </span>
<span class="style1">(including all text, figures, and references); please use the ACM 8.5 x 11 </span>
<span class="style1">manuscript templates from </span>
<span class="style1"><a href="http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates">http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates</a>. A 150 word abstract </span>
<span class="style1">and the final 2 page extended abstract (PDF format) must be submitted online at </span>
<span class="style1"><a href="https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/CCA2011/">https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/CCA2011/</a> before the deadline of March 15th, </span>
<span class="style1">2011 at 11:59PM PST. The extended abstracts will be reviewed, and accepted </span>
<span class="style1">abstracts will be published online at the CCA11 website (<a href="http://www.cca11.org/">http://www.cca11.org/</a>). </span>
<span class="style1">Notifications of the paper decisions will be sent out by March 22nd, 2011. </span>
<span class="style1">Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and </span>
<span class="style1">present the abstract in the poster session on April 12, 2011. One extended </span>
<span class="style1">abstract will be chosen for a 30-minute presentation slot in the final program, </span>
<span class="style1">which consists of invited leading researchers in Cloud Computing. For more </span>
