<div>Thank you for your prompt replies! Sorry, I hadn’t seen that there is conda option for petsc, only looked at petsc4py. pip install petsc failed due to missing BLAS libraries. It’s not so much a question of eventually installing it as finding a way that
is simple and which students can follow, so knowing that there is no issue with petsc and petsc4py on conda-forge is already very helpful.</div>

<div>All coding will be done in Python and I’ll only use petsc4py, so won’t have to compile any PETSc C code.</div>
