<div dir="ltr"><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">After six years of development, Idaho National Laboratory is proud to announce that the Multiphysics Object Oriented Simulation Environment (MOOSE) framework is now available as open source software! <br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">Built on top of PETSc and libMesh, MOOSE provides a modular, pluggable system aimed at accelerating the development of complex, multiphysics applications. Over the last six years it was licensed by over 60 institutions world-wide and has been utilized to create over 40 different multiphysics applications simulating everything from groundwater migration to nuclear reactors.</div>
<div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">A sample of some of the capability within MOOSE:</div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">
<div><br></div><div>* Fully-coupled, fully-implicit multiphysics solver</div><div>* Dimension independent physics</div><div>* Scalable hybrid parallelism (largest runs >100,000 CPU cores!)</div><div>* Modular development simplifies code reuse</div>
<div>* Built-in mesh adaptivity</div><div>* Continuous and Discontinuous Galerkin (DG) (at the same time!)</div><div>* Intuitive parallel multiscale solves</div><div>* Dimension agnostic, parallel geometric search (for contact related applications)</div>
<div>* Flexible, plugable graphical user interface</div><div>* ~30 plugable interfaces allow specialization of every part of the solve</div></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">
