<div dir="ltr"><div><div>Hello,<br></div>        I was testing the plexsubmesh functionality.  I created a 1D submesh from a 2D mesh. The 2D mesh is a square mesh with uniform x-y grid. <br><br></div>x [0,L] and y [0,L]<br>
<div><div>numX = 10, numY = 91<br><br>The 1D mesh is along y axis at second x-grid point. <br><br></div><div>when i call a DMView on submesh, i get the follwoing:<br><br>Mesh in 1 dimensions:<br>  0-cells: 91<br>  1-cells: 90<br>
Labels:<br>  Boundary: 1 strata of sizes (2)<br>  depth: 3 strata of sizes (91, 90, 180) <br clear="all"></div><div><div><div><br></div><div>I was expecting :<br><br>depth: 2 strata of sizes (91, 90) <br><br></div><div>Looks like the submesh has the information of 2-cells of the parent mesh. Is this a default behavior ? <br>
