<br>SCR has an immediate student internship opening in the area of computational solid mechanics with a focus on cardiovascular and orthopedic applications. A PhD or MS student with related R&D experience is preferred. The duration of internship is preferably 6 months. According to the progress, publications will be submitted and patents will be filed.<br>
<br>The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical and computational background on solid mechanics (in particular elasticity and plasticity), the awareness of the state-of-the-art, and the ability to translate the theory into working codes using finite element method in C/C++ or Fortran. He/she should have excellent oral and written communication skills and result-oriented attitude.<br>
