Couldn't get it to recognise the flag, -log_summary, but wrote to file using PetscLogPrintDetailed(PETSC_COMM_WORLD, 'petsc_log_summary.txt', petsc_err).

Also check if petsc examples work [with -log_summary]. This will
isolate the issue [petsc build vs application code]
