In The Spotlight... Ken Adam

Born in 1921 in Berlin, Ken studied architecture at London University and
was an RAF pilot in Word War II.  He entered the film industry in 1947 as a
draftsman; became an art director in the mid-50's and a production designer
in the early 60s. His work has been known for its stylish inventiveness and
sense of humor. He won an Oscar for the art direction of Kubrick's Barry
Lyndon in 1975.
