SNES convergence

Hi all,

Using the SNES solver, i have divergence at second Newton iteration because of Line-Search failure. However at each iteration, i had a residual around 10^{-14} ie. very small. 
Does somebody know what it means exactly? Is it possible that my resolution did not converge at all?
