<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve come across a problem with using ghosted vectors on GPUs, using CUDA backend. This is with the latest PETSc release version (3.18.5).<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I saw that there is already an issue on Gitlab regarding this issue (<a href="https://gitlab.com/petsc/petsc/-/issues/1096" target="_blank">https://gitlab.com/petsc/petsc/-/issues/1096</a>), and also an associated branch and merge request (<a href="https://gitlab.com/petsc/petsc/-/merge_requests/4542" target="_blank">https://gitlab.com/petsc/petsc/-/merge_requests/4542</a>),
but there doesn’t seem to have been any activity on the merge request for about a year.<u></u><u></u></p>
