  Since Jed likes good hygiene on the PETSc repository where silly commit messages and false steps don’t get into master I propose we do the same kind of editing on the mail archives. We edit the archives to remove all stupid suggestions, misunderstandings and wrong attempts so it looks like we are a brilliant bunch who always go in the right direction at every step.<br>
