Hong, in petsc-dev, default is interlaced. I ran some tests, I got malloc errors when inserting mat values using subcomm of contiguous type. I think that PCRedundant with PETSC_SUBCOMM_CONTIGUOUS is buggy.<div class="HOEnZb">
