I still despise MPI compiler wrappers, their existence demonstrates the shear computing incompetence of most people doing HPC.</blockquote></div><br><div>And totally inadequate configuration systems provided by everyone who tries. It feels like too much work to write a cross-platform configuration and build system for "simple" projects. Most projects start with one file and autotools/CMake/SCons/BuildSystem feel heavy, unfamiliar, and overkill.</div>
