When I applied the graduate school at MSU many years ago, there were 6
applicants from China named Hong Zhang, two eventually came, me and a
man. "This
is a deficiency of English", indeed :-(

Don't worry, I can easily distinguish emails from the context. I've
forwarded hongzhang may emails since he joined our team.
