Wei-keng,<br>I had the source in /git/parallel-netcdf/ and had created a directory in /tmp/pnetcdf. I'd run "/git/parallel-netcdf/configure" in the /tmp/pnetcdf directory so that I could do all the building in there and not worry about having left over build-related "cruft" in the /git/parallel-netcdf directory. <br>
<br>That being said, I really appreciate your help and I tried what you suggested (building in the source directory) and saw the same error. I'm attaching the output of the "make tests" compilation. The error now comes from "./pnctestf.F" as you suggested it should. <br>
