I guess that I was misled by the website at
http://trac.mcs.anl.gov/projects/parallel-netcdf/wiki/ReleaseNotes-1.1.0
where it stated that 1.1.0 was released yesterday.

Anyhow, I am looking forward to the release version. Thanks for the great work in parallel netcdf.

Best regards,
Rich
Hi, Rich,

Thanks for reporting the compilation error.
Actually, the version 1.1.0 has not been officially released yet.

The error you are seeing is from the new APIs we added yesterday.
We are currently working on this problem and hopefully can release
the version 1.1.0 by the end of this week.
Dear parallel netcdf developer,

I did not realize that version 1.1.0 was released yesterday. -- I tried the svn version for CDF-5 format on NERSC franklin a week ago and it worked great. Today I was to use it on jaguarpf at ORNL and I was still using svn version checked out today. The compilation failed because there are extra variable names in line 103 and 105 in the file libf/mpifnetcdf.h

Anyhow I will use the release version for my work.
Best regards,
Rich
