This could be due several different problems... A likely candidate
<div>is if your mesh has degenerate elements that have two vertices </div>
<div>collapsed together.</div>

<div>I would suggest inspecting the element number in question</div>
<div>as a starting point. Other options include working with a subset</div>
<div>of your mesh to try to uncover the issue.</div>

<div>see what is being printed out. It appears that genmap doesn't like</div>

<div>Just an FYI for those of you who tend to do svn updates fairly often for nek5000:<br>
<br>
The svn version 1088 does not compile correctly. I found if I reverted to version 1078 it did compile correctly.
