Hi, 

Are you setting the timestep adaptively through a fixed CFL or fixing
the timestep ? Also you may need to refine your mesh while going up in
Re number specially if you are running a DNS. 

A well known scaling for the number of grid points in your mesh is N ~
Re**(9./4).
