hey there guys,<br>i hope u all are doing great.<br><br>i had some questions in mind and thought any one here could have the answers.<br><br>1.why mpich uses ring communication? why not tree or star or any other network topology?<br><br>2.when u use mpd as your process manager, and u have a mpd.hosts file like this:<br> node1<br> node2<br> node3<br>when u have any problems booting the mpd in (say node2) the mpd doesn't skip this node and continue to the next(instead the whole booting process fails)?<br>does this issue happens with other process managers (say hydra)?<br><br>one last thing, if any one know anything that can give me deeper knowledge about how mpich2 internally works it would be great.<br><br>sorry for the long mail.<br>thanks<br>hatem <br> </body>
