<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">Dear Dr. <span>Reuti</span>:<br><br>Thank you for your quick reply.<br><br>The number of nodes is decided using environmental variable CFOUR_NUM_CORES which was defined at the configuration script of cfour.<br><br>I restarted the same job by doing the following ;<br><br>export CFOUR_NUM_CORES=4<br><br><span><span>mpd</span></span> &amp;<br>mpdboot -f File&nbsp; --ncpus=4<br>cfourbinary input &gt; output<br><br>I noticed that starting the command ( top) confirms the presence of four cpus runing<br><br>on my computer, nevertheless the job finshed in real time close to the serial job !.<br><br>Best Regards<br><br>Mohamed<br><br></td></tr></table><br>
