<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> "Attempting to use an MPI routine before initializing MPIC"</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">I get both error lines numerous times when I execute a test app as follows (stripped down):</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> c:\> mpiexec -hosts 2 server1 128 server2 32 </FONT><A HREF="file://\\ns\test.exe"><U><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">\\ns\test.exe</FONT></U></A><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> </FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">The app runs fine (or so I think) when I reduce the number of processes:</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> c:\> mpiexec -hosts 2 server1 64 server2 32 </FONT><A HREF="file://\\ns\test.exe"><U><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">\\ns\test.exe</FONT></U></A><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> </FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">This is really just a stress test because server1 only has 16 cores/processors; and server 2 only has 2 cores/processors. But I don't think I should get this error. I noticed that another person reported a similar problem in dec 2009 but I did not see how this was resolved. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">Any suggestions or ideas? tia.</FONT>
