I want to user myrinet over tcp. The problem is, how do i choose myrinet instead of ethernet? In my machine file i specifically choose the myrinet interface. Is that enough?

MPICH2 supports myrinet using either TCP or MX. Using MX will give you
the best performance. The README file describes the additional
configure arguments you'll need to configure with MX.
