I have a very annoying problem with all recent versions of MPICH2 (up to 1.0.6). It seems like the drive map's don't get finalized properly.<br><br>The problem can be reproduced by using any mpich2 program and using a drive map. WIth the "net session" command, the active sessions can be displayed. Every time the mpich2 program is run, the number of sessions in "net session" increases. The problem starts when the number of sessions has reached a certain limit, usually within 6 or so runs. This works even for all programs, so if you want to test it, use a simple program.
<br><br><br>When I run "smpd" in debug mode ("smpd -debug"), smpd keeps giving access violations.<br><br>Does anyone have simular problems?<br><br>Does anyone have a solution? A patch?<br clear="all"><br>
