Since I am not able to tell from the console display, what operating system are you using?

I'm having an issue getting our cluster working.. Here is what I get
when i run mpirun on an example
 

[wind@cluster1 basic]$ mpirun -np 2 cpilog
connect to address 192.168.0.10: Connection refused
Trying krb4 rsh...
connect to address 192.168.0.10: Connection refused
trying normal rsh (/usr/bin/rsh)


It just halts there. I can rsh just fine from the master node to the other node

[wind@cluster1 basic]$ rsh node1 date
connect to address 192.168.0.10: Connection refused
Trying krb4 rsh...
connect to address 192.168.0.10: Connection refused
trying normal rsh (/usr/bin/rsh)

my /home dir is nfs mounted on node1

here is the .rhosts file

node0 wind
node1 wind


I'm out of ideas.. i've been reading for about 5 hours now with no luck

any pointers?
