[mpich-discuss] Regarding ROMIO package installation withMPICH2 and LAM-MPI

If you're having a problem with open MPI (even if it's with ROMIO), you might want to post first on the open MPI mailing list. We'll redirect you back here if it's a deeper ROMIO problem that we can't solve. 

FWIW,  I'm not at a keyboard to check, but I think it might be --with-io-romio-(foo), as someone else said on the thread. 

Also, please don't use LAM/MPI anymore. It's been dead for several years.
