Subject: [mvapich] Announcing the Release of MVAPICH2 1.7-alpha

The MVAPICH team is pleased to announce the release of MVAPICH2-1.7-alpha
with the following NEW features and enhancements:

* NEW Features and Enhancements (since MVAPICH2-1.6)

    - Based on MPICH2-1.3.2p1
    - Integrated with Portable Hardware Locality (hwloc v1.1.1)
    - Supporting Large Data transfers (>2GB)
    - Integrated with Enhanced LiMIC2 (v0.5.5) to support Intra-node
      large message (>2GB) transfers
    - Optimized and tuned algorithm for AlltoAll
    - Enhanced debugging config options to generate
      core files and back-traces
    - Support for Chelsio T4 Adapter

This alpha release is primarily intended for MVAPICH2 users who want
to use the latest features of MPICH2-1.3.2p1 on InfiniBand, iWARP and
RoCE clusters. Successive 1.7-RC releases with multiple new features
(specific to InfiniBand, iWARP and RoCE) will be available in the near
future.

For downloading MVAPICH2-1.7, associated user guide and accessing the

All questions, feedbacks, bug reports, hints for performance tuning,
