[MPICH] Status of support for heterogeneous networks?

 We are currently in the design/early_development stage on heterogeneous
support for MPICH2. We will let you know of our progress.
 
(PS: Currently MPICH supports heterogneous systems)

I'd just like to check on this effort.  Our small development cluster is now
mixed between PPC Mac Minis and Intel Mac Minis and we're eager to get our
MPI programs working across all of them.
