We had a good night playing pool. I was paired with an
individual named Bob that I had not met before. He said he played a handful of
games the last couple of years on the league. I don’t know which team.

We had a buy our first round. We then won our next two
matches. We were comparable players. In the finals match we played Bob Daun and
Missy. Bob was very good at setting up balls for Missy. We went to three games,
losing the third.

We bounced to the loser bracket to play Frankie and Maria
for a second time. We won the lag and Bob broke sinking a solid. I shot down a solid
and so it went. Bob set me up for the 8, which I made. Match. Frankie and Maria
never got to shoot.

We then went to the final final game with Bob and Missy
again. They had to win one game we had to win two. Games in the winner bracket
were best of three, loser bracket was a single game. We won the first game.
They won the second. Ugh. Still it was a good night. I left at 12:15 am.

I hope to see everyone in the fall.

Hi All,  Hope your summer is going well.  Next Tuesday July 6th we will have our 2nd practice night.  You can get there as early as 4pm, just check in with Karle.  It is $5 to practice and will include playing in a tournament which will start at 7pm..  If we get enough players, the tournament will be scotch doubles.  Players will be paired, the highest with the lowest handicaps and then the matches will not be handicapped.  If you want to play, and may not get there by 7, please text or email me or Karle.  Should be fun.  Hope everyone can make it.
