We played No Sweat.

Jack started off the night playing against Scott in a 2:3. Jack was
making his shots, getting to the 8 first in the first game while Scott
still had a few of his left on the table. After just catching the tip
of the side pocket on his first attempt on the 8, Jack got another
shot at it and sank it, this time with ball-in-hand after Scott
somehow managed to miss all his balls on his turn at the table. The
second game played out much the same as the first; Jack was making
shots and got to the 8 first while Scott still had a few of his left.
After missing a tough shot on the 8, Jack again got ball-in-hand to
sink the 8 and win the game and match, 2:0. Jack's first win in his
return to Team Moe; good job, Jack!

Next was Tami in a 1:5 against Dennis. Tami was making shots too, but
Dennis was tough, shutting Tami out 0:5.

Paul H played the 3rd match against Bob in a 2:4. Bob was shooting
well, nearly running out the first game which he won, but Paul was
able to put the pressure on by making some nice runs which he
translated into a win in the third game. That got Bob worried enough
that he took a fourth game handily, but Paul returned the favor taking
a big lead in the final hill-hill game. With Paul only having 1 ball
left, Bob caught up though, getting to the 8, and while he missed his
shot on it, he left it blocking the one pocket where Paul could sink
his remaining ball. Paul went for a safety, but unfortunately he left
enough room for Bob to get to the 8, which he sank for the game and
match over Paul, 1:4.

Paul L went next against Steve in a 3:2. Paul shot well, taking the
first 2 games. Steve made a rally to take the 3rd game, but Paul had
the 4th and final game well in hand, winning it and the match, 3:1.

John closed the night against Muhsin in a 4:2. John struggled to
string shots together, but slowly, steadily he sank his balls, winning
the 1st and 2nd games. He continued making slow but steady progress
in the 3rd game, inclding a nice, bridged cut shot, but it sent the
cueball half the length of the table, unexpectedly hitting the 8, and
sending the 8 across the remaining half of the table and into a corner
pocket, giving the game to Muhsin. In the next game, John continued
to struggle, and this time Muhsin got a nice lay of balls, which in
his final turn, he managed to run his last 3 plus the 8, taking the
game and match 2:2 over John. So disappointing...

So we got 2 wins on the night; not as Super of a Tuesday as we would
have liked, but not bad.
