Attached are the results from this week.
Standings. In spite of only winning 2 matches, Cue Therapy still has a big lead. The real battles right now are for 2nd and 5th. And even though he didn’t play, John Derby still has the lead in the MVP followed by Dave Stevens. Both are undefeated and only suffer when they don’t play. And of course Kevin Felker is still easily in the running.
End of fall session and the Holiday party. The last week of the session will be December 17th and I would encourage people to bring treats to share. Q will set up a table for us to put the goodies on. We are off Dec 24 and 31 and the Winter/Spring session will start back on Jan 7. Prize money from the fall will be distributed Jan 7.
Revisiting the handicap table. Our handicap table need to be adjusted to reflect the fact there are no longer negative handicaps. At the same time we can look at some races that are probably a little unfair. The proposed new table would create fewer "X to 1" matches and would mostly impact high handicaps versus medium handicaps. For example Kevin Felker(163) v Tim Tyska (76) would go from 7:1 to 8:2 and Dean Bass (150) v Jenny Erdmann (66) would also go from 7:1 to 8:2. Please consider this and I will poll the captains in a couple of weeks.
