As usual, I'll be traveling about half the time. Known conflicts include Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 22, and Nov 19. I prefer to arrive around 7:00, but can usually be there by 5:30 with advance warning.

Hi Moe!
Summer is almost over (already :( ) but that means that another year
of Pool is almost here! The new season begins next Tue, Sep 17.
There are no changes this year from last: we're still playing at Q on
63rd St, we're still playing on Tue, keeping the early start time of
5:30 PM, there are still 8 teams in the league, so each session will
still be 14 weeks. Cost remains unchanged too, $5 for session buy-in
and $7 per match. We have $340 in winnings from the last session
which should cover half of the Fall session.
Who's still in for the coming year, and what's your expected
availablility (weeks you think you can play and time of evening you'd
prefer to play)?
Ron is happily enjoying retirement from Argonne (I hope!) and said he
doesn't plan on playing unless needed, given the long drive. However,
former long time team member Craig Stacey will be rejoining the team
and has said that he'd prefer to play early, so we're losing a player
and gaining another.
I should be available most weeks and will be keeping the same time
schedule as before, usually arriving after 8 PM. I'm also willing to
keep serving as team captain unless someone else wants to give it a
go.
Please respond back to the list w/ your availability if you're
planning to play this fall. Dean has a few people on the list looking
for a team, so we can get another player or two if needed.
Looking forward to another fun season with everyone!
John
