We played Nice Rack.

First up was John C against Gene in a 2:2.  John dominated, taking out
Gene 2:0 for he 2nd match win of the season.

Paul L played the parallel match against Mike in a 2:2.  Mike's a
tough opponent, and unfortunately Paul couldn't get a win.  Paul was
shutout 0:2.

Martino was next against Dave in a 2:4.  Dave took the first game, but
Martino came back to take games 2 and 3, beating Dave 2:1.

John V played the 4th match against Cheryl, a 1:4.  Cheryl was
shooting well and had me in the first game, but luckily for me she
missed her shot on the 8.  I sank it on my turn for the game and won
the next as well.  In game 3, I got out to a quick lead, but I getting
blocked on the 8.  Cheryl slowly came back, ultimately making some
good shots and sinking the 8 before me for the match.  I lost 2:1.

We didn't have a 5th player, so left the final match to be made up
next week.  Nice Rack had 5 players, so we'll be assessed a penalty on
the makeup match.  With 2 wins (1 more than last week), we're heading
in the right direction. :)

In other news, Q had the tables re-felted (and re-cushioned too, I
think).  They look VERY nice now and play very well, but they also
play VERY fast; balls keep rolling and rolling and rolling!
