[POOL] Argonne Pool League Final Results

The fall session for 2015 wrapped up last night and we completed all of our matches.  Both league MVP and team champions were closely contested and came down to the last matches of the night.   First the league MVP ended in a 3 way tie.  Karle Blahut, Brian O’Kelly and Chuck Blahut.  Those Blahuts had something going on!  Gary Wiezorek played and lost, but if he hadn’t played he would have been tied for first as well and if he had won, he would have taken first.  Frank Hernandez also played and lost or he would have been tied for first as well.   The first place team was team 2, "The Moe Szyslak Experience”  hanging on to over take team 4, “Nice Rack” by 1 match.  Nice Rack lead the whole season till the last night and ended their chance for an unprecedented “3-peat”.  In the end, the top 6 places were separated by 3 matches.  The team payouts will be given out at the start of the next session, January 5. The payouts are listed by place.  For those that want to play the next 2 Tuesdays, the Q has offered 3 hours of pool for $6 to Argonne Pool League players.  Make sure to tell them you are with Argonne.
