The only place I know of that has 9 ft. (or maybe they are 8 ft.) tables is Fox and Hound at I-59 and North Aurora / New York, and that's quite a distance from ANL.
I find it interesting and somewhat despicable that Q has systematically decreased the number of 9 ft. tables until they are in such demand that they can justify an increase of 400% (assuming the original charge to us was $25/table/night). I guess I'll scratch another Q Billiards location of my list of places to recommend when people ask for a good place to play. Sadly, that leaves just Fox and Hound, which is a great place with decent/fresh beer but is very badly located if you hate sitting in traffic.
